Andrea Black

Andrea studied physiotherapy at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen and graduated in 2002 with an Honours Degree.

Andrea began her working career in Monklands Hospital, Airdrie and gained 18 months expertise in the treatment of musculoskeletal, respiratory and neurological disorders. During this time she developed a particular interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy and attended several courses to increase her expertise in these disciplines.

Andrea returned home to Northern Ireland in 2004 to take employment with the North & West Health & Social Services Trust providing physiotherapy to patients in Health Centres, schools, Child Development Clinics and the community.

In the past 6 years she has attended many formal training courses in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and this has prompted a recent move into the private practice arena in January 2007. Andrea is a member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and is registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC).
